The Pocahontas County Arts Council is developing a schedule of instructional art programs to be offered in the county. 

If you have a background, education, or experience in teaching a specific art subject or activity, then we urge you to contact us to contribute your talent while at the same time, offering opportunities to both youth and adult interested in broadening their horizons through infusion of arts into their daily lives.  Examples of such art might include but by all means is not limited to such activities as composing photography, writing poetry or prose, interpreting dance, painting or drawing in any medium, developing and designing ceramics, composing music, creating sculptures, and other arts not included here.

The curriculum of the art instructions will be based on availability of instructors as well as enough students to merit the classes.
